Made for my first Postbox Topper.

My first attempt at making a Post box topper. Going to be a lot of trial and error to keep the figures standing up straight. With this my first figure, I’m trying a wooden spoon. The spoon has made shaping her head very easy, with the handle being a perfect support for her neck. I’ve not included the sceptre or flower, because I don’t want little bits on the topper that might be tried to be picked off.

This topper is being made for ‘Book Week ‘, and I have chosen ‘Alice in Wonderland ‘ written by Lewis Carroll, who wrote the story while living in Guildford, where I will be putting the topper up.

Other characters that will be included on the topper are Alice, Mad Hatter and the White Rabbit.

I am also planning to make some bunting to put around the edge .

I will be asking my son for some help to create a QR Code for the topper.
