i couldn’t help myself. i found some cotton baker’s twine in the kitchen drawer of our vacation rental, so i decided to make the house a present. it goes perfect with the decor shapes and textiles in the master bedroom.

i made the large pattern, but only did 4 rows before i added my own change for a border row.

my changes: slst in center stitch, sk 1, hdc in each dc, in corner (3hdc, ch3, slip stitch in first chain to create picot, 3hdc), hdc in next 5dc, sk 1.
continue with this pattern all the way around.
