The thirteenth pair of socks I am making for my husband. I can almost make them in my sleep by now (sort of). I am using the leftover red from a previous pair for the toes and possibly heels.
Update 2.7. At first it didn’t bother me that the color sequence is different in the two skeins, but after about 1 1/2 inches I cut out yarn in one of the skeins to match up the color sequence a little better. I had to cut out quite a bit ( see picture). Then I joined the yarn with the “ magic knot“. The two socks are looking more similar now and I think that Tony will prefer that.
