Notes

Another Shawl; I am again attempting to use up stash yarn. The Araucania is left over from my Spring Garden Tee, the Zooey from my Sommer and the Cascade from some washcloths I made last year.
I may not have enough Cascade, but think that at that point I could just finish with the other two colors. I do have enough total yardage.

11.3. I finished section 1 in no time at all and started on section 2. An easy way to know if I have a stitch count of 57, was to count the garter ridges. Each repeat gives me two garter ridges. In each repeat I add 3 stitches, thus I needed 17 repeats after the original set up section. 17 repeats add 3x 17=51 stitches to add to the 6 stitches you have after the set-up section, so a total of 57 (maybe sounds more complicated than it was).
I section 2 I will count the white stripes; should have 11 stripes and 90 sts :)

11.4. (Day 2 ) Finished with section 2 and half way through section 3. This is a quick knit with just enough interest to keep me going to see what’s next :)

11.5. (Day 3, or actually just evening since I was working on a shop sample during the day) Finished section 3.

11.6. (Day 4; knitted again on the shop sample during thhe day 4 Rows short of finishing section 4. Will do STARS tomorrow :), yeah!

11.7. (Day 5) There is a lovely video on how to do the star stitch : Video on how to do the star stitch.
FUN :) I can’t believe how quick a knit this is! Just quick enough to squeeze in before gift knitting begins.
Finished section 5 and started section 6.

11.8. (Day 6) Finished section 6 and am half way through section 7. I think I have this finished tomorrow!

11.9. (Day 7) On the second repeat of section 7, I only knitted through row 12 (including row 12). I was weighting the yarn after every few rows to make sure I had enough left. I started the i-cord bind off with 10 g of yarn left and had another 3 g left when all was done. Finished and loving it !!!
