I took my niece to the local yarn store (first time she had ever been to a yarn store!) and she fell in love with this yarn. We choose a simple classic pattern with just enough interest to make it stand out and she is looking forward to be wearing the scarf. This yarn is nice to work with and so soft! This is the first time I am doing a smocking stitch and once you get the hang of it it is rather easy. As a matter of fact the pattern is easier than I first anticipated. After about two section repeats I no longer need to look at the pattern.
