Notes

Easy to remember pattern and hard to put down, because I just want to see the yarn pattern emerge.
Part 2 had me a little puzzled, but it helps to watch the suggested videos.
Ok, I got totally obsessed and just had to see how this works out. Started the first mitt Monday afternoon and finished it Wednesday morning heartsheartsheartshearts
Finished the first mitt in two days, November 4 to November 6.
Very cool pattern.
I saw that there is a German translation which varies a little from this original pattern and want to try that one some time in the future.

11.12. On to the second mitt. With snow on the ground today I want to be wearing these soon. I just wish I had measured how many yards of the light brown color I started with so I can match them. After finishing the first mitt I am back in that same color ( thus the thumb) and have a little more than 1.5 yards left. I am thinking to better start with the next light brown section.
Measured what I have left in light brown against the next original length; it’s only a quarter of the original length so I am going to cut out one whole section.
Finished the second mitt quickly, too. As I said: They are hard to put down.

Here is an interesting article on knitting a flat circle: https://kitdunsmore.com/2015/09/11/trying-to-knit-a-flat-...
