Notes

Project stages:

  1. I was really excited about the prospect of making this little chap. Colours used: black, cherry, burgundy, white and a small amount of mid-brown. 25.06.2010

  2. Having made my choice for the colour of the cape lining I began. Though I noted that the pattern says 100g balls I only needed 50g balls.

  3. I’ve only been knitting him on Mon afternoons, otherwise I’d have finished him sooner.

  4. Nearly completed I just have to stuff and assemble him.

  5. Now stuffed and assembled and face applied. I assembled each part as I made it so I didn’t get left with lots of tiny, curious knitted shapes that (if you are like me), you may not remember where they belong.

  6. A fabulous, fun project. 11.08.2011

  7. I applied the FACE once the whole bat was constructed. I experimented with placing pins where I thought the eyes and nose might be, then sewing on the mouth in relation to these.
