Notes

9th April 2016
The 2nd & 4th pictures catch the colour correctly.
5th April 2016
Finished! Just have to sew in the ends, wash and block it. Then I’ll take some pics…
1st April 2016
I’ve done most of it…now my brain’s enaged. Lovely pattern and lovely colours too. They’d make a good jumper. To match. Because I’ve only 6 or so things on the go at the moment so I need more, obviously.
Needs a jolly good block when I’m done.
25th March 2016
I’m making so many mistakes it’s ridiculous! Changing to the wrong colour again and again! Grrr! Back I go…
23rd March 2016
Did a few rows of Corrugated Rib and realised it would be a bit small… ripped it and started again on 3mm needles. I’m not sure if it’s the relative weight of the wool compared to Spindrift or if my head is big.
True, big head. Just ask anyone.
18th March 2016
P.S. Borrowed photo for now…
I have a LOAD of Australian Tapestry Wool cones, and decided to start using some by making a Tam-O’Shanter.
This patterns looks a good place to begin…
I started with the Spindrift colour swatches, then, following the values of those chosen colours (sort of), picked out my own in the tapestry wool.
I’ve used it before and it washes up nice and softly. Perhaps I ought to have done a swatch, but nah…
