At last I have found the perfect yarn to make this in… Striped hottest, candy pink and a pretty grey. Good O!
A birthday indulgence from The Morris sales. The whole month of June is mine to spend, spend, spend!

Trouble is… the 2ply is making this very small! I’m not too bright sometimes! Perhaps a pretty neck scarf? Pfffttt!

This is a 60% Merino/40% dehaired Angora. YUM! The colour is gorgeous! (The first 2 pics are Op-Shop vintage mohair and I frogged it because you couldn’t see the pattern).
I’ve had a bit of difficulty doing as I’m told (by the pattern) and started at least 4 times before getting into the swing.
I emailed Natalie (apologetically) who answered immediately (with links to Youtube demonstrations) and made me feel like a normal, intelligent person and not a total dunce! Thanks for that Nat!
So, I’m going along. Not quite right yet but I’m determined to sort it out.
It’s so pretty!
P.S. Don’t be put off by my carry-on, I always do this with lace. Besides, I’m managing to end up with the correct amount of stitches at the end of the each pattern! Yay!
