The yarn was a gift from Michelle (of Berry Colorful Yarnings). It’s lovely, and didn’t lose any color when soaked with SOAK in warm water.

• 27 sts picked up for back of sleeves

• 13 sts picked up for front of sleeves

• 7 1/2” sleeve length from underarm ( if the parents, or other siblings are not excessively tall, I would recommend a 6 1/2 inch length from the under arm )

• how I worked the sleeves: following jilldmakesstuff’s suggestion, I followed the updated Tomten Sweater sleeve instructions from The Opinionated Knitter. Once all the stitches were eaten up, I continued to work the sleeves in the round.
