as I was working on this.. the color scheme reminded me of my childhood.. when I was little, we wore colors like blue, and brown, and green, and orange. Me and many of the kids I knew were also in hand-me-downs from our older sisters and brothers, stuff from the 70’s… which i’m sure didn’t help any of us. I remember a lot of like.. yellow ocher. rust. dark red. I just spent part of the holidays with my little nieces, and I was blinded by an ocean of pink and purple. everything.. pink and purple.

his is the same size as mine. if I had it to do over again, I would have gone one size up and made the sleeves a half inch longer. I forget things, like that men expect a full range of motion in their clothing. he denies it (to protect my feelings, since it’s too late now!) but he can’t really move his shoulders fully in it..
