6/22 I couldn’t stop thinking about this and had to make it. The ella rae is a great replacement for the rowan. Great yarn. I always have to go down a few needle sizes, but I still couldn’t get gauge, so I’m making a smaller size. Looks great so far. The charts in the book are small and not the clearest - even enlarged - but I’m getting a feel for the pattern.

It ended up being too small - so I’m giving it to my sister for her Christmas Birthday present. Finally sewed the collar, blocked and put the buttons on today!
