He’s got nasty, big, pointy teeth!”, spoken in my best Tim the Enchanter voice.

With apologies to Roxycraft for adding twisted Python humour to the adorable Bunny Boo pattern….I seem to be unable (unwilling?) to leave the unadulterated cuteness completely unsullied. :-P

And, so, the result is Killer Gurumi of Caerbannog…who turned out to be quite a frightening, yet cuddly, little beastie. Should you not know of the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog, read here: run away! (er, click me) …and then watch Monty Python & the Holy Grail.

I created killer bunny’s gaping maw using some mystery acrylic red yarn, cross-stitched over the crochet surface, and created the shaping with a few bits of running stitch sewn invisibly beneath the x-stitching with embroidery thread. The big fangs are sort of made up chain thingamajigs, attached separately, and the pointy bottom teeth are a small row of picot points, secured at the ends and a few points along the edge.

I think my favorite bits are the “opposable ears” :o)
