I am such a big fan of OGE Knitwear Designs- they are simple, elegant and super relaxing to knit.

Kelly requested a blanket for her baby girl due in June. I’d had this pattern queued for a while so it was the perfect opportunity to cast on.

The yarn is Lana Grossa 365 Cashmere. The yardage is very generous so it works out very good value. It is super soft to work with, has great definition and drapes like a dream, which means it it a perfect choice for blankets and the like. It is also machine washable which when it comes to baby blankets is an essential !
