1/14/2011: Classic Wool was on sale for $4/skien so I got some for this project and the hooded jacket. Did my swatches and blocked, both steam and wet to see if there was a difference to sizing. I’m keeping with steam. It looks like this grows just a little bit. So I need one hook size larger, J, but I like the way the stitch pattern looks with the I hook. I guess I’ll give the J hook a go.

I just keep cooking with the griddle. This is my third project this week that used the griddle stitch. I like the effect.

5/12/2011: Frogged. Realized I am a size larger than I thought. I’ll start this again in a few months.
