The purple one was made to the small (3-5 yrs) specifications. My gauge was spot on but it fits like 12-18mo. I was bummed out that I had to make another one to get the size I wanted.

The green one was made to the medium (6-7 yrs) specifications. Again, gauge is spot on but it fits like a 2-3T. On this one I did a 2x2 rib for the collar and bottom. When the pattern says to switch to a 5.5mm needle, I used a 5.0mm needle for 3 rows then switched over to a 5.5. I was hoping to make the line from the gauge change less noticeable and I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out.
