I made these a tiny bit short based on the pattern instruction that said you should be X“ shorter than your actual foot length at a certain point.

For my L slipper that meant knitting 19 rows instead of 23. For my R slipper that meant knitting 21 rows.

While I love the finished slippers, they were not my favorite thing to make. The yarn I chose was heavier than suggested. I made sure to choose something bulky, but bulky is a huge category. Now I see that the suggested yarn is ~600ypp and mine is ~425ypp. Big difference. It meant that while I was able to get gauge, it was moderately uncomfortable to knit.
