Socks made from the toe-up. Footlength: 23 cm. Cast on 16 st. Increased every other row until 28 st. on each needle. Used the Dead Simple Lace Socks pattern from Wendy Johnson (Socks from the Toe-up) as a starting point and made it my own. I lost the piece of paper I wrote my pattern on. Must ask for sock back in order to see what I did.

Pattern:
Round 1: K1, 1YO, 1SSK, K5. Repeat 4 times only last 4 st. K4 instead of K5.
Round 2: K all st.
Round 3: K4, K2tog, 1YO, K5 , K2tog, 1YO, K5, K2tog, 1YO, K5, K2tog, 1YO, K1.
Round 4: K all st.
It is not the same lace sequence as in Wendy’s book. Used her Gusset Heel technique to turn the heel. I did not follow her pattern to-the-letter. That is why her pattern is not mentioned as the pattern name.
