Notes

Made from a strand of Colinette Paintbox and a strand of Drops Alpaca white on needles 4 mm. Toe-up.

This time I tried (I really, really did try) to follow the Cat Bordhi way of doing a personel footprint sock like mentioned in her book: Personal Footprints for Insouciant Sock Knitters. But I gave it my own twist by knitting only one piece of thread for the leg opening instead of two sewn in lifelines and then cutting away the thread in between. And it worked out so well. I don’t know if somebody else has tried this before but I am happy I listened to my instincts and tried it. Not that Cat Bordhi’s way is not good. Not at all! It is. I only did not want to do the cutting part between the lifelines. That’s why I did it like this.
