I have finished the shawl in just one week!!!

It was a lovely easy knit, but I am disappointed that I didn’t cast on looser as although I have yet to block, I don’t think I will achieve the icicle edging in such a ‘pointy’ form as the pattern :-/.

I would say I was an average tension knitter and casting on with big needles I assumed my cast on was loose. I would suggest casting on with needles at least one size up from the pattern suggestion to ensure a loose cast on.

Other than that it was a dream…… Took it to knitting group tonight unblocked and everyone loved it :-)
