This was a fun, easy knit…and resulted in a very sharp looking, comfortable and warm hat. I cast on 96 stitches for the adult large but began the decreases when the hat measured 5 1/2 inches from the cast on. Audrey wanted it to fit snug like a beanie…it does! She is thrilled and returned to college today wearing it.

The madelinetosh tosh vintage in the colorway Cousteau is a beautiful yarn with an almost iridescent appearance…think fish scales and mermaid tails! And the bonus? The color complements her eyes perfectly. :)
