I had been looking for a simple long sleeve dress pattern for my bunnies…and found this!!! It’s a wonderful dress pattern which I modified for a bunny fit with shortened sleeves and dress length. I kept the cast on the same and modified along the way checking the fit. This was knit top down and flat, with an open back which was seamed when finished. The bodice and sleeves were done on 2.5mm needles and the dress was finished on 2.75mm needles.

One change I made which I would do again is to purl the KFB increases on the purl side(wrong side)of the knitting. I did so on the skirt just under the waist, and though fiddly, they are much less noticeable. On both sleeves I did the regular KFB on the knit side and it did not blend in as well…at least on my knitting.

The detail on the hem is a stitch called 2 color ladders with twists which I found on Instagram from @knit_play . It is a wonderful stitch resource! See photo at left for pattern.

The bunny was knit on 2.75 mm needles with Filatura di Crosa Zara yarn in Latte 1773.
