Notes

This dress was knit with a long tail cast on of 96 stitches using four repeats of the chart shown on the left.

The dress was made using my usual seasonal dress pattern modifications found here.

The dress was started using my tips for a neat garter stitch hem found here. Rows 1-2 of the chart are the cast on row followed by 4 rows of garter stitch done on straight needles. I joined to start knitting in the round on row 5, knitting all rows with the exception of row 14 which I did in purl to create a garter ridge. I switched to dpns to knit back and forth on row 26 and did two rows of decreases on rows 28 and 29. For the decreases, I alternated the black and white yarns depending on which looked best with the design.

There are two pictures of the chart. In the dress finished here, I stopped at row 29. However, I added rows to the chart to show the second row of completed flowers in case anyone would like to knit the floral design without or with less of a blue border.
The bunny was knit on 2.75mm needles using Filatura di Crosa Zara yarn in Latte 1773. Knit picks Comfy Fingering in Lilac and White were used for the shoes and tights.
