Note to self: Next time I’m knitting bottom-up start with provisional CO and knit cuff/border last!

Made the body shorter and added 3/4-sleeves.

Body 3mm needles, sleeves 3.25, sleeve cuffs 2.75, body border 2.5.

Mods

• slipping first and last st at front on all WS r,
• started increasing for sleeves after 15 cm using lifted increases, separated fronts and back after finishing the one stitch increases and didn’t do the cast-on increases,
• using German shortrows (double stitch),
• following this example and moving the shoulder seam to the back of the neck so started shaping shoulders on back after 14cm and on fronts after another 5cm,
• picked up in every st for sleeves with 2mm needles, next r k2 k2tog and on the r after that decreased evenly to 80 st; knit 40 r, decreased 2 st on the next r and then every eight r another seven times = 64 st, knit 6 r; cuff 6 r broken rib, BO in pattern,
• realised the body was a little too short so removed the garter border and knit downwards 22 r - the lace panels are half a stitch off but you don’t really notice, border 6 r broken rib, BO in pattern.
