This is a great pattern - everything is explained really clearly. I’m planning on making these for all the family and maybe some friends. The first pair I have made I used 4 mm needles but I think for the next pair I will use 3.75 mm needles for a snugger fit. A great way to use up oddments from the stash.
The second pair I’ve made have a few modifications. I went down to size 3.25mm needles and knitted a 1x1 rib for the wrist instead of 2x2. This gives a much snugger fit. The main modification was to not knit the separate fingers - life’s too short and I haven’t got the patience. Despite the open top the second pair are just as warm as the first.
Third pair now completed. I’ve slimmed down the thumb to 16 sts rather than 20 and customised the length to fit Eve’s dainty hands.
Fourth pair now complete - I think’ll have a break now!
