The design was born when my son asked me to knit him a rainbow hat for winter.

The pattern is easy. It creates 2 layers of stockinette stitches on both sides making the hat/scarf warm and soft.

Oversized cardigan / bolero with short sleeves knitted in one piece side to side. The fabric drapes elegantly and makes the piece perfect for spring / summer. Great for a beach if knitted with 100% cotton yarn.

Asymmetric shawl that begins with only 7 stitches and then grows sideways gradually.

The shawl has one centre cable motive and and repeating cable ‘twists’ on both sides.

The shawl is 180 cm wide, worked from bottom to the top.

This is a variation on my Asymmetric Saw Shawl (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/asymmetric-saw-shawl).

It is very light and ideal for warm summer evenings. Would look perfect with an evening or a cocktail dress.

This pattern has lots of changes in direction of knitting so it is very important to use circular needles
