The yarn used for this set is Manos del Uruguay Silk/Merino Blend, which is a super soft DK yarn. You can knit the whole set with just 200g of yarn, which makes this a pretty cheap gift set (or scrummy treat for yourself!)

Two of my most popular patterns, Autumn Gold and Nordic Lace Hat, are now available to buy as a pair for those of you hooked on basic lacework.

Knitting: Beanie, Toque, Hats - Other
Knit in Erika Knight’s ‘Vintage Wool’, this unisex bobble hat is made up of knit, slip and cabled stitches to create a warm, woven-look fabric.

Autumn Gold is a lightweight, 4 ply lace hat, great for Fall and Spring when there’s a slight chill in the air. For those of you looking for more of a shorter, beanie style hat, there is an option to start decreasing early.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Constantine is a cosy, cabled worsted weight hat that is so super soft and snuggly. The cable pattern is fun and a nice introduction to those of you not so familiar with it.
Knitting: Mittens
A super cosy, chunky, unisex pair of cabled mittens you can knit up in a weekend. This pattern is much easier than it looks and the result is so snug these will become a firm favourite. Designed to match the Constantine hat.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern is based on one of my most popular hats - Elana’s Corkscrew Beanie, which is available in sizes newborn to aged 10. A few people had mentioned it would be nice to have an adult version, so here it is!
Knitting: Hands - Other
This idea came about after a joke my Dad kept making, about cutting the tip off of the index finger of a pair of gloves so he could keep them on when out taking photos.
Knitting: Mittens, Fingerless Gloves
Designed in A Stash Addict’s BFL Solid Aran, the mitts are knitted in the round on 4mm (US6) dpns or using the magic loop method. The mitts and mittens are a really fast knit - I completed one pair of mittens in a day - and would make a great last minute gift for someone or a cheeky treat for yourself.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
A cute, quick hat I put together for a little lady! This hat is fun to knit and suitable for beginners, using only the basics, knit and purl, and k2tog.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
A sunburst pattern in a gloriously rich yellow colour is guaranteed to put a smile on your face every time you see this hat! The lace pattern is worked in a DK-weight merino yarn from Fyberspates, called Vivacious, which provides excellent stitch definition.
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
This is a quick knit lace bolero in worsted weight yarn - perfect for chilly evenings. It is surprisingly warm - there is something about the yarn weight and the lace pattern that work really well together.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This was a stashbuster hat for me over lockdown, I wasn’t intending to release the pattern but a few people asked me for it. ‘Iced Gem’ has sadly been discontinued from Erika Knight’s British Blue Wool range, but is still available in some online stores, along with many other gorgeous colours. Of course you can use any DK yarn from your stash t...
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
A gorgeous pattern of twisted stitches, cables and wrap stitches decorates these appealing socks.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl came about after the Nordic Lace Hat and Mitts – I bought two skeins and they were just crying out to be made into a set!
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I’ve had this yarn sitting round for ages! I bought two skeins of it and it was sooooo lovely I didn’t know what to make with it. Inspired recently to make a new hat, not to warm, not too thin, for camping in British springtime, I thought this might be the perfect excuse to use it.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
After making the Nordic Lace Hat, I thought the pattern repeat would look good on a pair of mittens too! My hands get really cold at work, so I wanted something stylish I could wear but still type at the same time! Thus the Nordic Lace Mittens were born… :)

Knitting: Coffee / Tea Pot
This is a pattern I created for Cosy Tea, to contribute to their weekly free tea cosy knitting patterns. This pattern is also available on my website If you download, please consider following my blog, thanks! :)
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a very simple beanie hat, recently updated and resized to fit a toddler through to large adult. Made from 100% merino wool, it promises to keep the coldest of heads cosy!
