Simple and fairly quick pattern to make that is low-sew. You only have to sew on the feet and flower if you use the flower. Any yarn can be used, just remember to adjust your eye size and hook.

This pattern is for advanced beginners/intermediate. You need to know the basic stitches of single crochet, half double crochet and slip stitching, increasing and decreasing. There is some colour work and shaping. Also used yarn under technique which gives a tighter stitch to the amigurumi.

I used worsted weight yarn, but feel free to use whatever yarn you like, you will either attain larger or smaller dolls. I used Bernat Premium and Caron Simply soft. But my testers used what they had on hand. The most yarn you will use will be for the hair.

If you haven’t worked with velvet yarn yet it can be tricky seeing the stitches, that said the pattern is easy to understand but you will need a knowledge of how to do the Bobble st, as the bobble stitch will be done in the round as well as in a flat piece. You will need 3 different sizes of hooks 3.5, 5, and 6 mm for this pattern.

Very simple pattern with simple stitches. The only thing you have to be careful about is counting your stitches as you are working with a fluffier yarn so stitches are not as easy to see but by spreading them out you can figure out where to skip and where to stitch.

just a very simple pattern which you can use up scrap pieces of yarn on. though I used caron simply soft you could really use any yarn which will give you either smaller or larger item when completed. Also if you wanted it for a girls hair tie and not a dolls than you can just make the tying chain longer.

This little glow worm was created originally from pixel art that I designed back in 2015 but have now I have taken him from my computer screen and into the crochet world. Pattern is very simple and I explain in a way so that even beginner crocheters could make this.
