A fun poncho knit in one piece. Using self striping worsted or aran weight yarn, this knits up quick. I made this for my 7 year old granddaughter, and her 5 year old sister wears it too. This is not a fitted item, so it will fit children from approximately 4 to 9 years old, and could easily be resized.

Constructed of two panels attached along the edges by picking up stitches for the side wings. No seaming needed. The stitches you need to know are knit, and k2tog.

This is a large rectangled with set in pockets. I created this for a friend on crutches with the pockets large enough for her cell phone and wallet. Any Aran weight yarn will work well.

Besides the actual crochet instructions, this pattern gives the user directions on how to create a felted hat that fits their own head size. Specific math instructions are given.

If you like both knit and crochet, then this shawl is right for you. This is a very warm, yet loose knit shawl. It drapes well, and goes with everything.

This shawl can be made in any weight of yarn. If you can create shell stitches and chains, you have all the skills required to make this shawl.
