“Fiori Incantati” is the Italian for “Spellbound Flowers”. The Fiori Incantati Cowl is worked back and forth, it is composed by four sections worked in brioche stitch and four narrow sections which feature lacy floral motifs. The cowl starts with a provisional cast on, and the sts are grafted.

The “Soul of Two Seasons” shawl is a delicate asymmetrical shawl inspired by the spring and winter seasons. It begins at the smallest corner, the upper portion represents spring with graceful, meandering branches and blooming flowers. The lower portion represents winter with a variety of stylized snowflakes.

Angus is the name of the Celtic god of youth , beauty and love but, more related to this shawlette it is also the name of the handsome cat living with one of the two very talented knitters who did test knit this design. As soon as Angus saw it finished , he took possession of it, clearly stating “ This is MINE !” .

This shawlette features traditional Estonian motifs. I designed it for my very dear friend Elisa, who gave me the honor to name this model after her. It has a curvy, soft shape obtained with short rows, narrower at its sides so as to be worn as a short scarf /neckwarmer.
