A bundle to keep track of sweater patterns (pullovers and cardigans) which feature a Simultaneous Set-In Sleeve construction--whether top-down or bottom-up. This type of construction would include (but not limited to) Barbara Walker’s top-down Simultaneous Set In Sleeve sweater, EZ’s bottom-up Set in Sleeve, TD4S, Ziggurat, etc….
This type of construction is not a “Contiguous” type of construction because it treats the shoulders very differently.
Contiguous casts on from the neck edge and works towards the top of the sleeve cap. This type of construction used for sweaters in this bundle (when worked top-down) casts on at the shoulder and works vertically down the back (and down the fronts) for an inch or two, and then stitches for the top of the sleeve cap are picked up along the selvedge edge.
