How can I buy or find yarn on Ravelry?
Ravelry has a yarn database, but do not sell yarn directly. When you are on a yarn page, there is often a buying options tab. You can click that tab to see any local and online buying options that are available through Ravelry advertisers.

Thursday Tip: Adding to your Library

Step One: If the code requires you to add more than one pattern, go to each pattern page and click “add to cart”.
If the code requires you to only buy one pattern, click “buy it now”.

… space so you can click on it and check it out! You can also choose “more” to see all of the ads of that type or if you are in a forum or group, it will show you all of the ads being run in that forum or group.
If you can’t buy something for yourself right now, but you don’t want to lose track of the ad, you can click “add to faves”. Then, you will see “in faves” in that spot.

Your Purchases
There’s another notebook section that houses the Ravelry purchases you make – your purchases. One caveat is that only purchases you make while logged into Ravelry will show up in your purchases. If you happen to buy a pattern while not logged in you still have your email receipt and can add it to your notebook, but it won’t show under your purchases.

This makes it easy to decide to go ahead and pick up that magazine since I’ll likely make more than one item from it.
