How do I find and get a pattern?
… are added by designers or publishers in their native languages, but others may have additional translations available. Make sure you confirm the language of the pattern before purchasing a Ravelry download. You can see the language on the right of the pattern page just above “about this pattern.”

Thursday Tip: Finding Patterns That Speak To You
… free Ravelry download, you will choose which language version to download when you click “free”. If it is a purchased Ravelry pattern, you will receive all language versions of the pattern upon download, unless otherwise indicated on the pattern page.
We do get asked if we can offer translations, and unfortunately we cannot, so it is important that you make sure the pattern is available in your preferred language before making a purchase. I hope this helps you know how to do that quickly and …

A pattern created by combining the patterns of other designers that does not have a published pattern for that combination, with permission of those designers, should not be entered as a new pattern.
Translations should not be added to Ravelry except by the designer of the original pattern to the original pattern entry, which means both have given permission for it. (Translations are derivative works and covered by copyright.)

Humans of Ravelry: Meet KatieBea!
