About this pattern

We use USA terminology in this pattern (don’t worry if you use UK terms, all the differences are explained in the pattern).

Materials and Tools

• Some cotton yarn
Yarn: DK / 8 ply (11 wpi); 216 yards (200 meters) per 100 gr skein. 100% cotton. Colors:
o Pink (skin) – 5 grams
o Black (boots) – 5 grams
o Red (hat and jacket) – 15 grams
o White (beard, hair and jacket) – 20 grams
o Grey – oddments for embroidery
• Hook - 3 mm (US Steel hook – C or 2, UK - 11).
• Flat Eyes for toys (5-7 mm).
• Glue to glue the eyes to the head.
• Tapestry needle.
