MATERIALS AND TOOLS
Yarn:
• Smooth beige color yarn for the trunk, face, arms, legs and tail – I used “Elitnaya” by Pehorka (100% Merino, 50g/410m);
• Smooth white color yarn for the tusks – I used “Vita” by Crystal (100% acrylic, 275m/50g);
Note: Beige and white color yarn should be almost of the same weight. You can check yarn weight for your country here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yarn_weight
• Fancy yarn for the body (fluffy or eyelash yarn) – I used “Lotos Travka Stretch” by Kamteks (70% acrylic, 28% nylon, 2% other, 50g/80m);
• Yarn for the eyes – it should be of the same weight as the yarn for the head or slightly thinner. It is very important that the yarn for the eyes is soft! I used ¼ of “Jeans” by YarnArt (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 160m/50g)

• Matching crochet hooks (I used 1.00 mm for the smooth yarn and 2.0 mm for the fluffy yarn);
• Two small black beads for the pupils of the eyes.
• Any stuffing.
• PVC single core copper electrical wire 2-3 mm in diameter for the wire frame approximately 100 cm (39.3 inches) long.
Use only copper wire for the frame as copper can better stand bending compared to aluminum. You can buy it at electric supplies stores.

• Adhesive fabric tape 1 cm wide to process the wire cuts (the one you use to cover wounds).
• Transparent glue.
• Sewing needle and tapestry needle.
• Wooden stick for stuffing hard-to-get places.
• Any material for tinting.
• Strong thread for tightening matching the color of the trunk.
• Sewing pins.
