One ball of this alpaca blend yarn plus lace and pretty shaping make for a quick, easy-to-wear scarflette with a bit of a Parisian flair.

This scarflette is the perfect “transitional” item. The stitch pattern transitions enough to make this little project hold your interest throughout. Plus, the laciness and button closure allow it to be worn comfortably without the extra bulk or warmth around your neck as the weather transitions from cool to cold.

The bottom begins with pretty curvy vine lace panels separated by Garter stitch sections that narrow as you progress. The scarflette then transitions smoothly into a Spider lace stitch that continues around the neck.

It ends with a long Garter stitch band for the pull-through version shown here, or a shorter tapered Garter stitch button band.

A gorgeous, cut-out button adds a vintage touch to finish off this unique scarflette.

A fabulous one-ball gift knit that is an ideal carry-around project as well!
