To begin, every year I buy a Christmas decoration to sum up the year, a special, sentimental one. We had one for our new home, our babies being born, our wedding, etc. This year it’s a toilet roll! After a completely crazy worldwide toilet paper crisis this year, I couldn’t resist making a novelty Christmas decoration.

I think designing a ‘pretty’ toilet paper is one of the strangest things I’ve done, saying that it’s been a strange year and I now have a little reminder to look back on.

The 2020 Christmas toilet roll measures just 5.5cm wide and 15cm tall, that’s including the hanging loop. I would describe it as the perfect size to hang on your Christmas tree.

I used DK (weight 3) yarn in 3 colours. I used ‘king Cole Pricewise’
