This top is very simple, but still has some fine details. I gave it the name, Northern Lights, because the colors reminds me of the northern lights, and since it is partially knitted on a trip north of the Polar Circle.

The top is quite short, since it is meant to go with jeans. It is fitted at the waist, and with round neck and short sleeves. There are two rows of i-cords along the neck and sleeves, and five rows on the body. The last i-cord is knitted in a contrast color.

Both the body and the sleeves are knitted in the round. The sleeves are joined with the body, so that there are no seams. The decreases on the yoke gives a good shaping and also accentuates the shoulders. I have used provisional cast on, both on the body and on the sleeves, and the i-cords are knitted downwards at the end.
