My favorite musical? WICKED! (Well, usually, lol!) There is just something fierce, amazing and incredibly powerful about Elphaba.
There is also something incredibly misunderstood and overlooked when it comes to Elphaba. I mean, honestly, how would you feel if you had to live life as a wicked shade of green?

I remember loving The Wizard of Oz as a child, but being terrified of the Wicked Witch of the West. As an adult, I wept during Wicked as I watched the back story of how this individual made the ultimate sacrifice for the good of those she loved. I was moved by the impact she had on turning GOOD those around her, even though no one would ever know.
It’s a good reminder, are we simply looking at the outside, at the green, or can we see beyond the surface to the heart of someone?
Well, come on, what are you waiting for, I think it’s time that we try Defying Gravity, after all, everyone deserves A Chance to Fly! This wrap is knit in a super Bulky yarn, so you will be flying in no time at all! It would be incredibly easy to modify to make it wider, longer, smaller, or shorter!

This wrap is part of my Villains?!? Collection in collaboration with Malabrigo Yarn.
