Could your knitting use a little pick me up? A HAPPY LITTLE SHAWL is inspired by Spincycle Yarns, “Dyed in the Wool,” and their unique spinning process with so many amazing colors and variety within every skin. The only hard part was choosing which color use! Knitting this, I was enchanted with the way the colors unfolded in so many wonderful and surprising ways. The process brought me so much happiness, I decided to make a solid color version as well. The body of this shawl has lots of garter stitch rows, with some eyelet contrasts for a pop of magic. And the border? That’s where it gets really interesting with a happy little lacy edge. A Happy Little Shawl might be just the thing you need to bring joy into your life.

Knitted with sport weight yarn, the shape of this shawl is a bias, asymmetrical, elongated triangle, with a gently curving top edge that hugs your neck beautifully. Striped or solid, I can’t wait to see which colors you will choose…
