Of course I had to include a Marvel character! I LOVE Black Widow- former Russian Operative? Spy? Member of SHIELD? What is the deal?
(Full disclosure, my kid’s will tell you, my favorite Avenger is Captain America, because HELLO! Steve Rogers!!! So, when I was looking for a final villain to include in this collection (and a piece of clothes inspired by them!), I had no issue re-watching Captain America: Winter Soldier. The scene when Natasha tells Roger, people are incredibly uncomfortable with displays of public affection, and then she kisses him? Yep, priceless and thus started the obsession with this iconic (well at least to me, lol!) cardigan!
This cardigan is worked in Washted, it knits up fast, the yarn holds up amazingly, and it is super warm, even when you have to wear it during a blizzard. Perfect for a spy turned good girl, right? It is knit from the top-down, Raglan style, then sleeves in the round, hood and finally the button band. You can add the pockets if you want them (perfect for holding your phone or any other necessities!) The toggle buttons just add the right ending and that pop of red contrast is just perfection!

This cardigan is part of my Villains?!? Collection in collaboration with Malabrigo Yarn, and you can purchase the ebook here.
