A New Slant is a modular garter stitch shawl with a unique asymmetrical shape. The long wedge shape gives you lots of ways to wear the shawl. The knitting couldn’t be easier! Work begins at the right corner and continues across the solid section and adjacent striped section. Stitches are picked up along the bottom edge to work the lower stripes. The pattern assumes you can cast on, knit, bind off and pick up stitches. That’s it!
