♫ The Music ♫
“Blow ye winds, hi ho,
A-roving I will go”
~ Lyrics from Blow Ye Winds by Sarah Makem

The stitch patterns are charted only.

2 Styles in one pattern! Both styles of these toe-up socks have an asymmetric cable at the outer edge of the instep and leg; the remainder of the instep is worked either in a twisted rib encasing columns of tiny buds (Style 1) or in twisted rib columns (Style 2). The same Celtic cable knot decorates the back leg of both styles with touches of twisted rib that create a great fit at the ankle. The double-bar gusset leads into a short-row heel cap (no picking up stitches for the heel flap) and the heel is worked in a standard slipped-stitch pattern.
