Sometimes you discover a yarn so unique that you just have to have it…and then have no idea what to do with it!

That was my experience when I held three balls of this mystical, self-bobbling yarn called Beach Pebbles in my hands, wondering how I would work it into a fun shawl/wrap!

The final result was exactly what I was looking for, and that’s when I thought, “Would this pattern work for other novelty yarns? Those novelty cakes, skeins, and balls we all have that we just don’t know what to do with?”

And so, A Total Novelty was born!

It’s designed to turn 300-450 yards of Aran or Bulky weight yarn into a fun wrap you can throw over a dress for an evening out, or over a t-shirt for a walk in the park!
