This pattern is for an avocado half with pit. This is a quick, beginner-friendly pattern that should take about an hour and a half to knit and construct. The construction is modular, with three separate knitted portions to sew together. Each portion, with the exception of the pit, should be knitted flat.

Using US 8 (5 mm) needles and bulky yarn (or sport weight held double), the piece measures about 4” high. US 3 needles with sport weight yarn produces a 2.5” tall fruit.
