These pretty lace socks were designed during a Ravelry group weekend away in Alcester, England, hence the name.

The pattern is written for three sizes, Small for 7” foot circumference, Medium for 8” foot circumference and Large for 9” foot circumference when worked to pattern tension of 9st/inch over stocking stitch.

The socks are worked toe-up and use a flap-and-gusset heel and picot edging for a feminine feel.

You will need to be able to:- work a provisional cast-on suitable for a toe-up sock, work in the round, read charts (the lace pattern is charted only)
