“LOOKING UPWARDS from ground level in urban areas can bring a new perspective to architectural features. This vest was inspired by a protruding building corner which was designed to create shade for the street below,” says Emma Vining. “The lower section has a twisted stitch pillar pattern, and the pillars then divide to form the canopy pattern on the upper body. The vest is designed to have around 12cm of ease.”
