Snap Snap! Alec the Alligator is a pocket-sized snappy toy you can carry with you on your adventures. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, Alec is knitted single pointed needles (not in the round). The alligator is worked in acrylic yarns, and incorporates stockinette and garter stitch for texture.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.25mm single pointed knitting needles (US 3)

RECOMMENDED YARN
100% acrylic 4 Ply (sport/fingering weight) or DK (double knitting/light worsted weight/8 ply) yarns

NOTIONS
A darning or tapestry needle for seaming, toy filling and toy safety eyes

SIZES
One size only - 19cm long

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
