I was very interested in some photographs of I saw of the Alésia Museum Visitor Centre in France. Although it is a stunning, circular building full of light, it was the outside of the building that I found most interesting. It is encased within a wooden herringbone structure, creating a very beautiful appearance. I think it must be the knitter in me, but I am always attracted to design that considers and uses texture, and this building does that very successfully. As a result of thinking about those photographs, I have made this little cosy which I think is quite beautiful too.

The design can be made from just two balls of DK weight yarn, and the pattern includes instructions on how to alter the size of the cosy to fit your device.
