This hat is comfortable and if you meet the gauge it should leave your head free of the “hat hair” look. The cinching and tie in the back give it a fun unique look. The pattern allows for the hat to be cinched or uncinched.

This pattern is for both regular worsted (Malabrigo Worsted) and also there is a version for hand spun yarn. Here are the supplies needed for both versions. There are pictures on my project pages for both types…ENJOY!

Version A (hand spun)
Supplies Needed:
Size 7 and Size 9 DP needles or (8inch round)
170 yards Hand Spun 100% wool (10 wpi average)

Small Crochet Hook or Tapestry Needle
I bought my hand spun from SheepingBeauty on Etsy and I highly recomend her yarn if you do not spin your own. Here is the link to the yarn I used for creating this pattern it has the MOST fantastic colors in it.
